Before Dirk Nowitzki was a sparkle in his daddy's eye and long before Dallas had NBA basketball, there was the ABA's Dallas Chapparalls. Always giving props to the other league that the NBA copied soon after its demise. This is the defiant looking and power forward extroidinare, Cincy Powell.   I'm using humor to dull the pain of the season so far. There is light at the end of the tunnel. On certain nights it works. Or are they just our stars getting hot once in a while all in sync? Portland is breathing down our necks,and look like GASP! the better team. Or at least play together as a team better than us currently. And thats Portland. Tonight we face Dallas in Dallas in front of they're crowd and talent to the gills. And a cocky but cool billionaire whiz kid owner who always seems to be in the hunt but never gets a center. They are good and should easily handle us. But I have hope. Sonic homey itis is a disease. I will follow the score on the net and hope for a good outcome...a Sonic victory on the road.
